Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a prescription or Letter of Medical Necessity?
If you plan to use insurance, yes — most insurance companies require a prescription or Letter of Medical Necessity from your doctor. If you don’t have one yet, I can help you request it.
Do you work with insurance?
Yes. If you’re eligible, I will verify your insurance benefits before your appointment so you know exactly what your plan may cover. If insurance doesn’t cover the full amount, you can choose self-pay or a flexible payment option.
What if I’m paying out of pocket?
No problem — many clients choose self-pay. We offer flexible payment options including Klarna, Afterpay, and other plans to make the process accessible.
Do you only work with people experiencing hair loss?
No. While I specialize in medical hair-loss clients, I also serve anyone who wants to switch up their look, try new styles, or explore custom options.
What areas do you serve in person?
I offer in-person appointments throughout the Denver metro area, including hospitals, clinics, homes, and surrounding cities such as Aurora, Lakewood, Thornton, Arvada, Centennial, Littleton, Brighton, Castle Rock, and more.
Do you offer virtual appointments?
Yes. Virtual appointments are available to clients nationwide and provide the same level of guidance, support, and customization as in-person visits.
What services do you offer?
Custom medical wigs (cranial prosthesis)
Insurance verification
Wig lessons (styling, application, securing, buying guidance)
In-person + virtual consultations
Help choosing the right wig, topper, or half wig
Glam or natural styling recommendations
Do you help beginners?
Absolutely. Whether you’re brand new to wigs or just unsure where to start, I walk you through everything step-by-step.
What can I expect during my consultation?
We’ll review your goals, discuss textures and colors, explore your hair-loss journey or glam preferences, review insurance (if applicable), and determine the best piece or service for your needs.
Do you carry wigs in stock?
I typically work with custom orders to ensure the perfect fit and style. However, I can show samples, textures, or guide you through options during your appointment.
Do you help with wig installation and styling?
Yes. You can book a wig lesson to learn application, styling, securing, blending, and maintenance — plus get buying guidance if needed.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. All medical, insurance, and personal information is kept confidential and used solely to support your appointment and service needs.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please notify me as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect future booking availability.
What’s the difference between a wig, topper, and half wig?
Wig: full coverage
Topper: covers thinning on the crown
Half wig: blends with your natural hair behind your hairline for added volume or style
Don’t worry — I help you choose the best one during your appointment.
